Neighborhood Associations
- Urban Neighborhoods Alliance is the umbrella organization for the five center-city neighborhood organizations; Grant Beach, Midtown, Sherman, West Central, and Woodland Heights.
- Midtown Neighborhood Association comprises the largest national registered historical area in the city.
- Grant Beach Neighborhood Betterment Association's neighborhood surrounds the beautiful Grant Beach Park, with its city pool and Railroad Museum.
- West Central Neighborhood Alliance is filled with huge stately historic homes and is walking distance from downtown. West Central is a great place to be.
Community Organizations
- Caring Communities is an organization that focuses on preventive measures to counteract violence, drug and alcohol abuse.
- North Springfield Betterment Association promotes the improvement and vitalization of North Springfield.
- Ozarks Area Community Action Corporation is a non-profit organization serving a ten county area in Southwest Missouri. They help residents in need of assistance with childcare, energy, housing and other programs.
- Council of Churches of the Ozarks is a faith-based organization that focuses on improving the quality of life for children, families, seniors, and those with disabilities.
Food Distributors
- Angel Foods Ministry is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing grocery relief and financial support to communities. The Local distributor is the Northside Assembly of God Church phone number (417) 866-3080.
- Share Colorado is a program of Catholic Charities providing over 50 percent off of food purchases. Living Hope Fellowship is the local distributor for Share Colorado. Contact them at (417) 368-0320.
- Ozarks Food Harvest is the regional food pantry. They provide meals and emergency food relief for residents in need.
